Ronald Keijzer Wins 2022 Poker Masters Event #3 for $202,500

Winning Event #3: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha at the 2022 Poker Masters is Ronald Keijzer. Keijzer topped the 81-entry field to take home a first-place payday of $202,500.

A pot-limit Omaha specialist, Keijzer picked up the second largest live tournament score with this victory, and he did it by beating another PLO specialist, Ben Lamb, in heads-up play. Keijzer came into the live-streamed final table with a large chip lead and he rode his stack all the way to victory, dominating the final table.

The win also moves Keijzer into second place on the 2022 Poker Masters leaderboard.

Keijzer's Road To Winning Event #3

Ronald Keijzer finished Day 1 with nearly half the chips in play. Six players remained and Keijzer was well ahead of anyone else at the table.

On Day 2, Keijzer got the eliminations started by knocking out Dan Shak in sixth place. He then eliminated Allan Le in fifth place and Damjan Radanov in fourth place. On each of those eliminations, Keijzer benefitted from some very fortunate run-outs to get the wins.

Ben Lamb was a short stack for much of Day 2 but did his best to maneuver his way to heads-up play against Keijzer. In fact, Lamb even knocked out Alex Livingston in third place, which afforded him some additional chips to go to battle against Keijzer with. At the start of heads-up play, Keijzer had right around a 3-1 chip lead.

Keijzer got to work against Lamb and captured more than half of Lamb's chips before Lamb was able to find a double up. On the final hand, Keijzer flopped a set of sixes and Lamb flopped two pair. The money went in on the flop and Lamb was drawing dead on the turn to give Keijzer the victory.

Ausmus Maintains Series Lead

It's still Jeremy Ausmus atop the 2022 Poker Masters leaderboard. Ausmus won the first event of the series and finished seventh in Event #2.

Ronald Keijzer's win in EVent #3 has him in second place behind Ausmus. Then it's Ethan "Rampage" Yau in third.
