Ronald Keijzer Holds Massive Lead as Six Remain in 2022 Poker Masters Event #3 $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha

Ronald Keijzer bagged nearly half of the chips in play with a stack of 4,885,000 and will take an overwhelming lead into the final day of Event #3: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha of the 2022 Poker Masters at the PokerGO Studio from ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Alex Livingston (1,630,000) sits in a distant second on the leaderboard with almost exactly one-third of Keijzer's stack. Allan Le (1,005,000), Damjan Radanov (925,000), Ben Lamb (865,000), and Dan Shak (815,000) all hold fairly close stacks at the bottom of the chip standings. Each player has locked up $48,600, but all eyes will be on the title, trophy, and $202,500 first-place prize.

The field of 81 entrants created a prize pool of $810,000 and the top 12 finishers earned a piece of it. Keijzer started to really climb the leaderboard when he knocked out Daniel Negreanu and then continued his run to hold a commanding chip lead as the money bubble neared. Keijzer was able to play a large number of pots with his stack and eliminated Erik Seidel on the soft bubble, before Zak Laikin was eliminated on the stone bubble when the river improved his opponent to a superior boat.

Nick Schulman (12th), Adam Hendrix (11th), Nathan Zimnik (10th), and Sam Soverel (9th) all made it into the money but fell short of the unofficial final table. Keijzer continued to hold a dominant chip lead as eight players converged on a single table.

Soon after, Samantha Perryman was eliminated in eighth place when her flopped top set couldn't hold against Damjan Radanov's wrap. Ben Lamb was almost gone before the end of the day, but he found a fortunate turn card to secure a double. Eventually, noted sports-cards enthusiast Jared Bleznick exited in seventh when his short stack failed to make the best hand, and the six remaining players bagged for the night.
