Adam Hendrix Leads The Final Table of Event #4: $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em

Adam Hendrix had an up and down final table, but after scoring a late double against Xuan Liu in level 14 and knocking out Justin Young in 7th place to end the night, the Alaskan poker pro finds himself with the chip lead heading into the final table of Event #4: $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em. 

Hendrix bagged the chip lead with 2,120,000 and is followed closely behind by Erik Seidel, who at one point was down to his last 3,000 chips early in the day only to storm back and bag 1,895,000 to sit in a comfortable second place. 

Rounding out the final table are Xuan Liu with 1,685,000, FiveThirtyEight founder Nate Silver with 1,440,000, Ed Sebesta with 1,210,000, and Victoria Livschitz is the short stack with 905,000.

Event #4 saw a field of 74 entrants, with the top 11 finishers finding a mid-cash of $22,200, and the final six are guaranteed at least $44,400, with the winner walking away with $192,400.

Maryland native Chris Lee just missed out on his first cash of the 2022 Poker Masters when his ace-jack could not run down the pocket kings of Rodney Turvin as he fell to burst the money bubble. 

Chris Brewer would be the first one out in the money when his ace-king was best by the ace-king suited of Liu. Liu turned a flush, and the man with the mullet was eliminated in 11th place for $22,200.

Turvin would burst the bubble, but he too would fall in quick succession when the queen-nine of Sebesta ran down his ace-eight. A Queen on the river sealed Turvin's fate, and he was out in 10th place for $22,200. 

Former League of Legends pro Billy Wragg was the next to fall when the ace-king of Sebesta bested his ten-nine. Wragg scored the first major tournament poker cash of his career with his ninth-place finish for $22,200. 

Nick Schulman would be the next to fall when the pocket queens of Seidel bested his pocket jacks. Schulman flopped a set only to see Seidel turn a bigger set and was out the door in 8th place for $29,600. 

Justin Young was chip leader for much of the day after scoring several big knockouts, but his luck came to an end as the final table began eventually falling when the pocket queens of Hendrix bested his ace-eight. Young flopped trips, but a queen on the river gave Hendrix a full house, and Young walked away with $37,000 for his 7th place finish.
