History of Super High Roller Bowl

The Super High Roller Bowl began in 2015 with a $500,000 buy-in attracting a 43-entrant field that was topped by Brian Rast for $7,525,000 in prize money. The buy-in was reduced to $300,000 from the second installment onwards, and Germany's Rainer Kempe and Christoph Vogelsang earned victories in 2016 and 2017 for $5,000,000 and $6,000,000, respectively.

The highlight of Justin Bonomo's record-setting year included the SHRB IV victory for $5,000,000, while his close friend Isaac Haxton would win SHRB V for $3,672,000, held later in 2018. Australian Michael Addamo won SHRB VI for $3,402,000, while Daniel Negreanu won the most recent SHRB VII for $3,312,000, his second-largest career score.

The seven previous Super High Roller Bowls held in Las Vegas have awarded $92,000,000 in prize money to 37 different players. Bonomo is the all-time money leader for Super High Roller Bowl in Las Vegas with $9,985,000 in earnings, while Rast ($7,525,000), Vogelsang ($7,200,000), Negreanu ($6,312,000), and Scott Seiver ($5,160,000) round out the top five.
