Stoyan Madanzhiev Leads PokerGO Cup Event #4 Final Table

The 2024 PokerGO Cup continued at the PokerGO Studio from ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, and Stoyan Madanzhiev bagged the top stack with 3,335,000 to lead the six remaining players in Event #4: $10,100 No-Limit Hold'em.

Aram Zobian, Jeremy Ausmus, Cary Katz, Chino Rheem, and Jesse Lonis round out the players who will return for the final day as play resumes at 12 p.m. PT on Tuesday, January 30 with the delayed final table stream beginning at 1 p.m. PT on PokerGO.

The field of 81 entrants created a prize pool of $810,000 and the top 12 finishers earned a piece of it. Eric Baldwin was the unfortunate bubble boy when he got his remaining stack in on a flop with a flush draw and failed to make the best hand. 

Erik Seidel (12th), Joelle Weinand (11th), Justin Saliba (10th), Richard Collins (9th), and Kristen Foxen (8th) all made it into the money but fell short of the final table.

The seven remaining players converged on a single table and it didn't take long before Brock Wilson got his short stack in on a blind-versus-blind confrontation. Wilson ran his king-seven into ace-king and was eliminated in seventh place, while the remaining players bagged to return for the streamed final table.

The six players will return with $40,500 locked up, but all eyes will be on the $226,800 first-place prize, 227 PGT points, and the PGT Gold Cup awaiting the Event #4 champion.

Defending PokerGO Cup champion Katz, Rheem, and Zobian all notched their first cash of the series, while Lonis and Ausmus each picked up their second, and Madanzhiev grabbed his third. All will be looking to catch up to Event #3 winner Jonathan Little who currently sits atop the PokerGO Cup series leaderboard in the race for the $25,000 PGT Passport.

When play resumes, there is 27:00 remaining in Level 13 with blinds at 15,000/25,000 with a 25,000 big blind ante. The button is on Stoyan Madanzhiev, there is a dead small blind, and Jeremy Ausmus will be the big blind.
