The PGT Mixed Games has crowned its newest series champion. Massachusetts' Max Hoffman topped the leaderboard to win the PGT Gold Cup and a $10,000 PGT Passport.

Hoffman follows in the footsteps of Dan Zack and Chino Rheem as previous PGT Mixed Games champions, and even had to fade a late surge from Dan Zack, who needed to reach heads-up play in the 10-Game Championship to overtake Hoffman.

According to The Hendon Mob, Hoffman has amassed $587,761 in lifetime tournament earnings. At this PGT Mixed Games series, Hoffman earned $376,300 in prize money, and combined with the October series, he has won more than $430,000 in PGT Mixed Games events.

Hoffman kicked off the 2024 PGT Mixed Games with a fifth-place finish in Event #2 before he collected his career-largest score in Event #5, where he won $100,800 for finishing runner-up to John Racener. Hoffman immediately jumped into the next event, and although he matched his runner-up finish—this time to Jerry Wong—he improved his career-best score by pocketing $103,400 in prize money.

Now sitting on top of the PGT Mixed Games leaderboard, Hoffman would score his third consecutive cash when he finished sixth in the Dealer's Choice for $28,200 to extend his lead. The PGT Mixed Games marquee event saw Hoffman dominate the final day of the $25,300 10-Game Championship, but his luck would end in fourth place. It would again improve on his career-best score as he earned $153,750 for his efforts.
