PGT Mixed Games II continued on Tuesday at the PokerGO Studio from ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada with Event #5: $10,200 Triple Stud Mix. The tournament drew 40 entries and play reached heads-up at the end of Day 1.

John Racener has the lead with 3,475,000 to Nick Schulman's 2,525,000. Racener began the final table as the chip leader and only lost it for a few hands en route to his bagging the lead. Schulman, meanwhile, began the final table as the second shortest stack but steadily ascended the counts throughout.

The field of 40 entrants created a prize pool of $400,000 and the final six players earned a piece of it. Brian Rast just missed out, busting on the money bubble. Ryan Miller was the first to fall once the players were in the money, losing much of his stack to Schulman's two pair in Stud Hi-Lo. Damjan Radanov fell in fifth place shortly thereafter, busting during Razz when his three wheel cards couldn't pull it out against Schulman's three wheel cards. Chino Rheem exited in fourth place but added to his already solid lead on the Mixed Games II leaderboard. He now has a 100-point lead with four events to come. Adam Friedman busted in third place on the final hand of Day 1 to set the stage for Wednesday's heads-up match.
