The 2023 PGT PLO Series II continued at the PokerGO Studio from ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on Monday with Event #5: $10,100 Pot-Limit Omaha. The tournament drew a field of 114 entries and leading the final seven players is Bryce Yockey.

Yockey leads a final table that includes Kyle Merron, Jeremy Ausmus, Artem Maksimov, Ben Yu, John Riordan, and Alex Foxen. These seven players will return on Tuesday already guaranteed $57,000. Up top for the winner is the $239,400 first-place prize, 239 PGT points, and the Event #5 trophy.

The field of 114 entrants created a prize pool of $1,140,000 and the final 17 players earned a piece of it. Laszlo Bujtas just missed out, busting on the money bubble. Benjamin Juhasz (17th), Ronald Keijzer (16th), Joao Simao (15th), and Joni Jouhkimainen (14th) were the first few to fall quickly after reaching the money. Following them were Dustin Goldklang (13th), Joseph Cheong (12th), Maxx Coleman (11th).

Next to go were LaDarren Banks (10th) and Roger Teska (9th), falling in a double elimination to Yockey in a hand that propelled him toward the top of the chip counts. On an ace-jack-seven flop, Yockey had bottom set of sevens, facing Banks' bottom two pair and Teska's top pair with a flush draw and straight draw. Despite having the best hand on the flop, Yockey's hand wasn't the favorite to come out on top. However, a safe runout vaulted Yockey into contention for the chip lead. Yockey then eliminated Lou Garza (8th) to secure the chip lead entering the final table.

Play resumes at 12 p.m. PT on Tuesday, October 24 with the delayed final table stream beginning at 2 p.m. PT on PokerGO.
