The 2023 PokerGO Cup continued on Saturday with Event #4: $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em from the PokerGO Studio at ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The 78-entrant field is down to the final table of six players with Anthony Hu holding the chip lead with 3,380,000 in chips. Hu catapulted into the chip lead with two tables remaining when he flopped a set against Nick Petrangelo and improved to a full house. With seven players remaining, Hu would repeat that scenario against Adrian Mateos to surge over the three million before settling on his final chip count of 35% of the chips in play.

Also at the final table is Erik Seidel, Andrew Moreno, Mateos, Justin Saliba, and Calvin Lee. Mateos is sitting at his third final table of the series and now ties Cary Katz with three PokerGO Cup 2023 cashes. Moreno returns to the final table after his fifth-place finish in Event #2. Calvin Lee is collecting his second cash of the series, while Seidel and Saliba are registering their first. The final six are all guaranteed $46,800 while all eyes are on the $195,000 first-place prize and title of Event #4 champion.

Event #4 began with more new faces taking their first seat inside the PokerGO Studio for 2023 as the 78-entrant field would create a $780,000 prize pool that paid the top 12 players. Kristen Foxen would be the unfortunate Event #4 bubble girl when her ace-king went down to Hu. From there, Dylan DeStefano, Vikenty Shegal, Nick Petrangelo, and Dan Shak were all eliminated prior to the final table of eight being set. Once the final eight combined, Brian Kim would be eliminated by Hu, before a long back-and-forth between the final seven pushed play past the 1 a.m. PT cutoff.

The decision to play down to six would see just a few more hands play out before defending PokerGO Cup champion Jeremy Ausmus shoved with ace-five for his 10 big blind chip stack and was called by Erik Seidel holding queen-deuce. A deuce on the flop was followed by no help for Ausmus to put Event #4 down to the final table of six.
