Any event that boasts a $25,000 buy-in is going to bring out some of the world’s best players but it is rare for a tournament field to have players that have not won at least one World Series of Poker bracelet be the minority. Most tournament fields don’t have some of the most experienced and versatile players in the game and today’s field has won bracelets in nearly every poker discipline.

To start, Brian Rast and Mike Gorodinsky have both won the $50,000 Poker Players Championship, an event that today’s structure was loosely based on. The PPC is one of poker’s most illustrious events, incorporating a huge buy-in, deep tournament structure and is arguably the most important event on most mixed game player’s summer schedule.

While Rast and Gorodinsky, pictured above, have each claimed wins in the ten-game formatted PPC, other have seen their WSOP victories come in individual games. Nick Schulman has two WSOP wins in $10,000 No Limit 2-7 Lowball Championships, Ray Dehkharghani won the $10,000 Razz Championship this past summer and Ben Lamb won his bracelet in the $10,000 Pot Limit Omaha Championship in 2011.

Another player that has crushed Omaha-formatted events, is Daniel Alaei. The five-time bracelet winner, pictured below, has won four $10,000 Omaha Championship events, with two victories coming in the Pot Limit High variant of the game and two coming in the Limit 8 or Better variant.

Alaei also has a bracelet in No Limit 2-7 Lowball, from 2006, meaning he has three of the ten games well covered, just like Eli Elezra. Pictured top, Elezra has three bracelets from three different disciplines, Stud, Stud 8 or Better and 2-7 Triple Draw. Marco Johnson also has a handful of the games in today’s mix covered, as he won this past summer’s $3,000 HORSE event for his second career bracelet.

In total, today’s Bellagio $25,000 Mixed Game High Roller field has won 32 bracelets and a list of players participating, with just under a half hour left before registration closes, can be found here.

As mentioned earlier, Poker Central will begin to provide updates of today’s event once the field is down to the final table.
