Eli Elezra Leads the Final Six in PGT Mixed Games Event #3: $10,300 Triple Stud Mix

PGT Mixed Games Event #3: $10,300 Triple Stud Mix is down to the final six players and leading them is Eli Elezra who put on a dominating performance on Day 1. Elezra both ran and played well over the course of the day, so well in fact that other players in the event started to dub the tournament "The Eli Elezra Open." 

He returns on Tuesday with 2,570,000 chips, well ahead of Yehuda Buchalter who finished the day second in chips with 1,755,000. Yuval Bronshtein (1,555,000), Philip Sternheimer (1,095,000), and Dan Zack (550,000) will join them at the final table, as well as John Monnette (1,480,000) who makes consecutive final tables in the PGT Mixed Games series. Monnette is in for a busy day as he has plans to finish his heads-up match with Albert Daher in Event #2: $10,300 8-Game before the start of this final table as well. 

Each of the final six are guaranteed at least $36,000 but they are all looking to take home the $180,000 first-place prize, as well as 180 PGT points which will be used to determine the PGT Mixed Games champion. The PGT Mixed Games champion will receive the PGT Trophy and a $25,000 championship bonus. PGT points will also be used for the year-long leaderboard which will qualify players to the end-of-year PGT Championship $1,000,000 freeroll. 

Event #3 drew out a total of 60 entries, and of them nine received a share of the $600,000 Prizepool. The buble boy of the event was David Funkhouser who was eliminated in a hand of stud against Yuval Bronshetin. Several players were short on the bubble, including satellite winner Michael Filipiak. Filipiak managed to find crucial back to back doubles to stay alive and he squeaked his way into the money and finished in 10th for $18,000, as did Phil Hui (8th - $24,000) and Jenniffer Harman (7th - $30,000). 

Play concluded for the night with Jennifer Harman's elimination in 7th, which conincided with the end of level 16. In her final hand, Harman was all in against Eli Elezra and Yuval Bronshtein in a hand of Stud Hi-Lo. Elezra ended up making a low while Bronshtein made a full house and her chips were split between the two of them. The final six players decided to bag and tag for the night, ending play for the day.

When play resumes action will start in Level 17 with a bring in and ante of 20,000 and betting limits of 80,000/160,000 limits. Players will start the day with six hands of Razz.
