When the final table of seven players began, David Prociak was second in chips behind Philip Sternheimer. It would be those two who reached heads-up play, and that's how Day 1 of the event ended. At the end of the first day of play, Sternheimer had the chip lead over Prociak by more than 2-to-1.

After a day off on Sunday, Sternheimer and Prociak returned to battle on Monday. On the final day, it really was all Prociak. He won pots early, climbed into the lead, and then ground Sternheimer down. Sternheimer did manage one double up in a hand of pot-limit Omaha during heads-up play, but the next time they got all the money in it would be all over when Prociak's set of sixes held against Sternheimer's top two pair.

The victory gave Prociak his first-ever PGT win and first win inside the PokerGO Studio. He said he believed his game stacked up well with the competition inside the PokerGO Studio but made sure to acknowledge that it was a tough group of competitors he battled with. Now, he said he's going to turn his sights on winning a second title. If he does, he should be firmly in contention for the PGT Mixed Games II series title and $25,000 championship bonus.
