Poker Central adds Amazon Appstore and Zynga as presenting sponsors at the 2017 Super High Roller Bowl

Amazon Appstore Joins Up with Zynga as Mobile Gaming Partner for $300,000 Buy-In Tournament and Additional Poker Central Events

LAS VEGAS, NV (May 24, 2017) – Poker Central®, the ultimate destination for fans of poker tournaments, cash games, and lifestyle away from the tables, and Amazon Appstore – in partnership with Zynga (Nasdaq:ZNGA) as its mobile gaming partner – signed a sponsorship deal for the 2017 Super High Roller Bowl taking place on May 28 through June 1 at ARIA Resort & Casino, along with additional upcoming Poker Central events to be announced. This will be the third consecutive year Amazon Appstore has sponsored the Super High Roller Bowl.

The deal kicks off with branded broadcast integrations at the 2017 Super High Roller Bowl – the largest buy-in tournament of the year at $300,000 – and will continue with additional Poker Central high-stakes tournaments throughout the year. Zynga’s first-time participation in the Super High Roller Bowl comes after a successful sponsorship with Amazon Appstore at the Poker Central Charity Shootout last December.

The 2017 Super High Roller Bowl will be the third installment of the high-stakes event of the year. The tournament sees participation from some of the biggest names in poker including Daniel Negreanu, Antonio Esfandiari, and Phil Hellmuth. This year, a field of 56 players including comedy superstar Kevin Hart will be competing for a prize pool of $16,800,000 and a $6,000,000 first-place prize.

“Welcoming back Amazon Appstore and adding Zynga as sponsors of Poker Central’s high-stakes tournaments is a testament to the popularity of poker entertainment and the success it brings to all parties involved,” said Joe Kakaty, president of Poker Central. “We look forward to building on this strong relationship between Poker Central, Amazon Appstore and Zynga by providing the best brand sponsorship opportunities available in our year-round poker programming.”

“We are excited to reach poker players around the world and introduce them to Zynga Poker through our partnership with Amazon Appstore and our multi-tournament sponsorship deal with Poker Central,” said Edward Le Breton, Vice President of Zynga Poker. “We look forward to building on the success of the Poker Central Charity Shootout we participated in last December, and can’t wait to have Zynga Poker share the stage with some of poker’s brightest stars during this must see tournament.”
