2017 Super High Roller Bowl Sells Out in One Day

2017 SUPER HIGH ROLLER BOWL SELLS OUT IN ONE DAY

LAS VEGAS (February 3, 2017) – Poker Central®, your ultimate poker lifestyle destination, along with ARIA Resort & Casino, the stunning Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five Diamond Award-winning resort, today announced that the 2017 Super High Roller Bowl® had sold out in one day.

Of the 50 seats available at The Super High Roller Bowl, 15 seats were reserved for ARIA, with 35 seats open to players as of February 2nd. The 35 seats sold out in hours, and were actually oversold, with 54 players placing deposits hoping to play. ARIA held a random drawing on February 3rd to choose the 35 players. The drawing aired on Poker Central’s Facebook Live.

“The lightning speed of The Super High Roller Bowl’s sellout confirms it’s now THE world championship of high stakes poker,” said Joe Kakaty, president of Poker Central. “Every player wants to play in The Super High Roller Bowl.”

This year, the Super High Roller Bowl has a prize pool of $15 million with a buy-in of $300,000. The tournament features seven 7-handed tables and is capped at 50 seats. Sean McCormack, ARIA’s Director of Poker Operations said, “It’s unprecedented for a high stakes tournament to sell out this quickly. I’ve never seen anything like this.”
