Born in Fillmore, New York, Brent Hanks graduated with a Master’s Degree in Elementary Literacy from St. Bonaventure University in 2007. After teaching fifth and sixth-grade math and social studies, Hanks took his shot at becoming a professional poker and won his first WSOP bracelet in 2012, and has accumulated over $1.8 million in lifetime tournament earnings that include two U.S. Poker Open cashes. Hanks currently serves as the Director of Programming for PokerGO.
