Ali Imsirovic is the fifth winner of the Poker Masters. Imsirovic topped 66 entrants to win the $25,000 No Limit Hold’em title to win $462,000 and 300 points toward the Poker Masters leaderboard. The final table aired on PokerGO with heavy hitters Brian Rast, Jason Koon, Ben Yu, Jake Schindler, and Daniel Negreanu making their claim at the title.

Schindler started with the chip lead and action picked up from there.

Relive the full final table here:

Imsirovic knocked off Koon at the start of the final table to set up his run. A short-stacked Negreanu fell early on and Koon didn’t take long to follow him out the door.

Negreanu made the most of the short day and jumped in for Brent Hanks at the PokerGO break desk. Will we see more of Negreanu on PokerGO this series? The odds look good with two events remaining.

Schindler failed to gain any traction at the final table and lost his chip leader position right away. The ARIA High Roller regular picked up another cash but missed out on a chance to win his first Poker Masters event. Yu put the crushing blow to Schindler with a river ace and Schindler departed in fourth-place soon after.

Imsirovic doubled up through Rast during three-handed play and the 2015 Super High Roller bowl champion went to the rail a few hands later. Heads up play opened with Imsiriovic in a dominant position and he closed out the match to win his first Poker Masters crown.

Poker Masters continues on PokerGO tomorrow with the $50,000 No Limit Hold’em event. Only one more final table remains until the $100,000 Main Event airs on Friday and Saturday. Imsirovic and Yu are tied for third in the standings behind Brandon Adams and Isaac Haxton.
