The field is up to 127 players right now, with two big names in poker just joining. WSOP and EPT champion Kevin MacPhee just sat down, with WPT winner Marvin Rettenmaier taking his seat one table over.
Two high rollers just clashed, and it was the younger one to bite the dust. We missed most of the action, but table mate Ryan Riess was kind enough to fill us in on some of the details.
Fabrizio Gonzalez opened from early position and the small blind called. Leo Fernandez squeezed from the big blind and Gonzalez called, the small blind folded.
Fernandez would bet all three streets on , (300,000), (450,000.)
Gonzalez called all the way -including all-in on the river- but mucked upon being shown by Fernandez.
Ludovic Geilich was seen sitting with a stack of just 37,000, a fraction of the 1,000,000 we had seen him with just before. Catching our glance, he explained what happened.
Farid Jattin, who had just sat down, opened the action with a raise to 19,000 from the cutoff. Geilich found in the small blind and three-bet to 80,000. The big blind got out of the way but Jattin four-bet to 245,000. Geilich shoved for 1,000,000 effectively and Jattin called with .
The flop was good for Geilich with , but the on the turn and on the river gave Jattin the straight.
Geilich had a few big blinds left after that hand but was seen exiting the tournament not much later.

When we arrived, the action was already on the turn but table mate Freek Scholten explained what had happened after the hand was over.
partypoker’s Renato Nomura opened the action to 16,000 from the hijack and small blind Jose Barbero three-bet to 51,000. The big blind folded, Nomuro called.
The flop came and Barbero bet 51,000. Nomura called.
Barbero bet another 225,000 on the turn and Nomura called once more.
The completed the board and Barbero shoved. Nomura folded rather quickly.

On a board of , big blind Rainer Kempe bet 20,000. Michael Del Vecchio folded from under the gun but the player on the button called.
The on the river made for trips on the board and Kempe bet 25,000. The button called and won with his as Kempe showed .
Kempe busted the Super High Roller earlier today, and now sits on a 950,000 stack in the Main Event.

From the big blind, having seen the flop go checked through, Price checked once more on a board reading . His opponent in the cutoff bet 20,000 and Price called. The on the river saw Price check a third time. His opponent bet 55,000 and this time Price folded.
With the board reading , we saw the player in the cutoff check. Cassio Kiles on the button bet 15,000 and his neighbor called.
The completed the board and the cutoff checked once more. Kiles bet 60,000 and received an instant-call.
Kiles showed and the cutoff mucked.
Despite winning the pot, Kiles is still down for the day sitting on a stack of 500,000.
