Throughout the summer, PokerGO will bring fans across the globe exclusive access to World Series of Poker final table streams and Poker Central will be following all the WSOP action. Each day, “World Series of Photos” will tell the daily stories from the Rio, so you don’t miss any of the sights of the WSOP.

Event #31 – $1,000 Seniors Championship

The first of many PokerGO final table streams this week featured the $1,000 Seniors Championship and the final nine didn’t disappoint. There was action right from the start, as former champion Dan Heimiller ran jacks into kings on the first hand off the deck, but once the dust settled, Frank Maggio was in the winner’s circle and has his name on the Golden Eagle Trophy. Maggio didn’t just have his hardware but he also had his wife and biggest fan there to celebrate his victory.

Event #33 – $1,500 No Limit Hold’em

If you’ve been following the Poker Central Podcast, you know Remko and I are always looking for someone to crown German of the Week. This week, despite some High Roller success from Koray Aldemir, the title belongs to Christopher Frank, who won his first bracelet in Event #33. Fear not Koray, you’ll reclaim your German of the Week throne next week.

Event #36 – $5,000 No Limit Hold’em 6-Handed

A player that is familiar with online poker thrones is Chris Hunichen. The online legend is looking to follow in the footsteps of other online greats that have recently won bracelets, see Chris Moorman, and comes back second in chips for Day 3 of the $5,000 No Limit Hold’em 6-Handed event. Hunichen trails Kenny Hallaert on the leader board but they won’t have an easy road to the final table, which will stream on PokerGO tomorrow, as Sam Soverel, Garrett Greer, James Obst and Mike Leah are all still alive.

Event #38 – $10,000 Limit Hold’em Championship

Another day, another $10,000 Championship and while Ben Yu is looking at another day, another bracelet, Daniel Negreanu, pictured top, is hoping to break through. Negreanu has come close multiple times this summer, notching 2nd, 3rd and 6th place finishes this summer and returns for Day 2 of the Limit Championship third in chips. You’re starting to get the feeling that if Kid Poker keeps putting himself within touching distance, Negreanu will claims his seventh-career bracelet this summer.
