Day 1A of the World Poker Tour Amsterdam €3,300 Main Event at the Holland Casino fielded 81 entrants and eight levels of action trimmed the field to 40 remaining players. Only Sebastian Ruiz crossed the 200,000 mark to end the day as chip leader.

Andreas Klatt is riding a heater from Monte Carlo, where he won the PokerStars National Championship and finished runner-up in the Main Event, bagged inside the top five spots. Should he ride his stack to a cash, he’s a lock to win the MonteDam Swing points race.

“Hong Kong” Tom Hall and Fabrice Soulier finished in the top ten with Paul Newey, Bryan Paris and Jack Salter advancing to Day 2 but with shorter stacks.

Day 1B plays the same eight levels on Wednesday starting at 2 pm local time and registration closes at the end of play. Prize pool information should be available on
Day 2 when the field is verified.
