The third day of the Poker Masters Online once again saw huge fields in both $10,000 buy-in events drawing 97 and 86 players respectively. Pot Limit Omaha proved once again to be very popular among the high rollers with Pauli Ayras taking home the $303,421 top prize. A few hours later, Alexandros Kolonias defeated George Wolff heads up in the No Limit Hold’em event to grab the $269,013 top prize. The winner of Poker Masters Online will receive a $50,000 cash prize and the Poker Masters Purple Jacket.

The Pot Limit Omaha event that kicked off the action saw Jorryt van Hoof make another final table after finishing third in last night’s Event #4 and with another min cash in the Hold’em event later that night he jumped into ninth on the Poker Masters Online Championship Standings. German phenom Ole Schemion recorded his second cash while Pauli Ayras took down the event for this third cash of the series and with that he grabbed the championship lead. After his win, Ayras shared this screenshot on his Instagram page.

In a long battle that went back and forth, Alexandros Kolonias defeated PLO specialist George Wolff heads up in Event #7. Kolonias jumped into third on the Championship standings after he cashed in Event #4 to bring his points total to 295.

After seven events it’s clearly still anyone’s game as far as the Poker Masters Online Championship standings go. Jorryt van Hoof, Pauli Ayras, and Juan Pardo Dominguez (98 points) are the only players to have recorded three cashes to date with the Finnish pro sitting at the top. Today at the Poker Masters Online there’s a $10,000 No Limit Hold’em on tap at 12:00 pm ET and a 6-max $10,000 No Limit Hold’em event at 2:00 pm ET.
