We don’t know how, we don’t know why, and we don’t really know when, but over the last few months, vlogs have been all the craze in the poker world. Each week, Poker Central’s “What the Vlog?” series will highlight our favorite vlog of the week. Also, don’t forget to check out our “Don’t Look Now” series, which keeps poker fans up to speed on everything poker and video from the previous week.

This past summer, Daniel Negreanu pulled double duty. While putting together, in his own words, a career-best World Series of Poker campaign, Negreanu also put together arguably the poker world’s best vlog. Each and every day, Negreanu gave fans in-depth and exclusive access to his deep runs, his RV, which doubles as his WSOP summer home, and the ins and outs of competing in some of the world’s biggest events.

Over the last few months, save for vlogs during Poker Masters, Negreanu has been relatively quiet. That quiet time has mainly been spent working and fine tuning his game, but Negreanu broke his radio silence this week.

Poker’s all-time money leader brushed the dust off his microphone and recorded his second post-WSOP Full Contact Poker Podcast, one that touched on a wide variety of topics.

Negreanu opens the podcast talking about an interesting online relationship that he was in for 11 months, shout out to Negreanu’s appearance on Millionaire Match Maker, then dives into some gambling stories from the golf course, and his results from the Major Series of Putting.

The meat and potatoes of the conversation comes at the midway point of the podcast. Negreanu talks about his recent studying and his “journey to GTO,” before giving some parting thoughts on Phil Hellmuth’s recent tweet and picture with World Series of Poker Player of the Year Chris Ferguson.

That discussion is easily the hardest hitting segment of the podcast and Negreanu gives fans some unfiltered takes about Ferguson, Howard Letterer, Full Tilt Poker, and more.
