We don’t know how, we don’t know why and we don’t really know when but over the last few months, vlogs have been all the craze in the poker world. To celebrate this newfound trend, Poker Central’s “What the Vlog?” series will highlight our favorite vlog of the week, but don’t forget to check out our “Don’t Look Now” series, which keeps poker fans up to speed on everything poker and video from the previous week.

When PokerGO launched at the start of the summer, one of the first pieces of original programming to hit the on-demand library was Matt Berkey’s documentary style series Dead Money. The eight-episode series follows Berkey and his team through months of preparation for the 2016 Super High Roller Bowl, an event he final tabled for a career-best score.

While PokerGO fans are still waiting for Season 2 of Dead Money, Berkey and his team, who head the Solve For Why Academy, have been documenting their lives and poker results for the better part of the last year through the Solve For Why Chronicles Vlog.

In their most recent vlog, Christian Soto runs into some passport hiccups before heading to Canada, Jordan Young takes a break from Las Vegas, and Solve For Why talisman Matt Berkey is preparing for his Poker After Dark return during “Rumble with Jungle” week.

Across back-to-back nights of $300/$600 No Limit Hold’em cash game sessions, Berkey battled against some of the game’s best high stakes players, including Daniel Cates, Doug Polk, Brian Rast, and Isaac Haxton. Arguably one of the most talked about hands from the first $300/$600 cash game involved Berkey, Cates, pocket kings, and one of the biggest bluffs since PAD rebooted this summer.

Berkey breaks down the semi-bluff, talks about how he has trained to compete against the best in the high stakes live arena, and how he felt right at home in one of the toughest Poker After Dark lineups ever assembled.

Watch the entire Solve For Why Chronicle Vlog above and subscribe to make sure you don’t miss any future Chronicle episodes. Also, watch Berkey’s entire “Rumble with Jungle” cash game session on-demand on PokerGO, along with more Poker After Dark episodes.
