Last year, $132.5 million was wagered on Super Bowl L. The figure was a nearly $20 million increase from the previous year and by far the most bet in Super Bowl history. Now, a week out from Super Bowl LI and in anticipation of another record breaking year of betting, South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa have announced their plans for the first multi-channel network dedicated to sports gambling information.

“The biggest names in sports broadcasting are joining experts in gaming, content, media and technology to launch Vegas Stats & Information Network,” South Point said in a press release. It went on to add, “VSiN will deliver the exclusive and proprietary news, analysis and data that sports bettors and enthusiasts need to win.”

VSiN will be headlined by broadcasting legend Brent Musburger and acclaimed boxing announcer Al Bernstein. These broadcasters will team with oddsmakers, including Jimmy Vaccaro, Vinny Magliulo and Chris Andrews to deliver information and insider views not available anywhere else.

In addition to those experts, some of the nation’s foremost sports gambling journalists will help create the first truly independent source of customized and actionable news to inform those who enjoy wagering on sports.

“Sports fans everywhere love a little action – what better way to take a chance and enjoy a good game?” Musburger said, through that same press release. “The time is here for these folks to get some straight-forward information from the people who really understand sports betting.”

VSiN will broadcast from the new state-of-the-art studio inside South Point’s Hotel Sports Book and Musburger will host a daily show Thursday through Monday from 6 to 8 p.m ET/3 to 5 p.m. PT. Bernstein will host his show from 3 to 5 p.m. ET/noon to 2 p.m. PT each weekday. In addition to those broadcasts, VSin.com will provide exclusive data and concurrent analytics with an array of selections to match the viewer’s preference.

VSiN will launch on Monday, Febraury 27 but will air a special broadcast hosted by Musburger on at 3 p.m. ET/noon PT on Sunday, leading up to Super Bowl LI.
