There are plenty of poker players that we’d love to see make a comeback. Vanessa Rousso, Sammy Farha, Gus Hansen and Tom Dwan, just to name a few. Luckily, from that recent “Top 5 Missing Poker Players” video, one is coming out of pseudo retirement to compete in the Super High Roller Bowl. Tony Guoga, who could very well be considered a legend from the “Poker Boom” era, will make his long awaited return to the felt in May.

Another legend, albeit with very few ties to the felt, is also making a return later this year. Georges St-Pierre, who is widely regarded as mixed martial arts’ greatest welterweight, will return to the UFC Octagon to face middleweight champion Michael Bisping. Both Bisping and St-Pierre are the two most winningest fighters in UFC history, with 20 and 19 victories, respectively.

UFC president Dana White announced the bout on SportsCenter earlier this morning, while also talking up this weekend’s UFC209 match between Tyron Woodley and Stephen Thompson.

While some may think that Bisping is getting an easy road to a title defense, St-Pierre was on a six-year winning streak that spanned a dozen fights before leaving the sport. There have also been rumors surrounding a possible St-Pierre versus Conor McGregor fight for the last year, a match-up that would arguably pit the UFC’s biggest stars against one another.

“We didn’t even come close to a deal with Conor McGregor,” White said, adding on SportsCenter, Georges said he could make 155lbs but in the end, everyone wants to fight Bisping because they think he’s beatable so he’s going to step up for the middleweight.”

St-Pierre hasn’t fought since defending his UFC Welterweight Championship in November 2013, meaning that no matter how “beatable” Michael Bisping is, St-Pierre could have his work cut out for him later this year.
