The latest edition of “Throwback Hands” from the Poker After Dark archives features two opponents of differing table presences. THE VAULT opens its doors for a showdown between John Juanda and David Williams with the Poker Hall of Famer getting the better of the former WSOP Main Event runner-up. It’s a spectacle available only on PokerGO that must be seen to be believed.

By the time the hand arrives, Juanda has already escaped danger a few times in all-ins against Williams. Once the flop comes down, the end result is inevitable.

Williams thinks he has Juanda cornered but it is him who is in the blender instead. The best part of the hand is not that Juanda has Williams crushed, it’s the look of defeat plastered on the face of Williams when he sees the hands. Sometimes, it just isn’t your day.

Find this hand and more in THE VAULT on PokerGO with additions added each and every week. While you’re there, check out the recently wrapped “Moving Violations” week with a legendary performance from Antonio Esfandiari on display.
