Through the first month of 2017, the High Roller world has been under Bryn Kenney’s control. Kenny final tabled the $100,000 Super High Roller event at the PokerStars Championship Bahamas and then went on to win a $50,000 event and a $25,000 event, amassing nearly $1,800,000 in winnings.

It’s no secret that Kenney crushes in the Caribbean, as he’s won over $5,500,000 there throughout his career, and this year was no different.

“This year was like the real crush, I always feel great when I get there and always have a good trip.” Kenney said when we caught up with him on the first break of the ARIA $25K High Roller. He went on to add, “I think it’s like 40% of my career earnings and I only play there like two weeks out of the year.”

The Caribbean isn’t the only place Kenney crushes though, as he final tabled last year’s Super High Roller Bowl but even though he netted an $800,000 score, Kenney knew it could have been bigger.

“To be honest I was frustrated getting 6th, I had a big stack for almost the entire tournament and from 16 down, just lost every all-in that I played.”

Kenney admitted that going from big stack to quickly eliminated once the money hit was “tilting” but also admitted that the Super High Roller Bowl is a “sick tournament” and that he hopes to get another chance at a deep run this summer. Kenney also knows how much of a proving ground a tournament of this magnitude is.

“If you think you are one of the best players in the world, you’ve got to be there.” Kenney said of the Super High Roller Bowl.

With a High Roller resume that is unmatched by most of the poker community and a white hot start to 2017, no one would doubt that Kenney is one of the best in the world. He’ll have another chance to prove that at this summer’s Super High Roller Bowl but until then, he’ll continue crushing every High Roller in his path.
