Poker Central brings you a plethora of very serious poker content on a daily basis, ranging from your Contender Countdown for the U.S. Poker Open to the exciting lineup announcements for Poker After Dark and Dolly’s Game. Five of a Kind, however, is not too be taken too seriously, as we take a light-hearted look at all that’s been good, bad, funny, and weird on #PokerTwitter!

Kitty’s Corner

A favorite in the Poker Central office, Kitty Kuo’s Twitter feed never disappoints. As evident by her fifth-place ranking on the Power Rankings, Kuo doesn’t need variance-induced tournament results to stay relevant. The Aussie Millions, currently ongoing at the beautiful Crown Casino in Melbourne, Kuo min-cashed the $25,000 Challenge only to then sneak into the winner photo and emphasize that the champ, UK pro Toby Lewis, is still available for all the ladies out there!

So while Kitty might be in need of some success on the felt, and Toby Lewis might be looking for a girlfriend, she has no room in her life for all the beggers sliding into the DMs looking for a stake.

Big Boy Hellmuth

Phil Hellmuth suffered through an economy flight from the West to the East Coast to play the Borgata Winer Poker Open World Poker Tour just a few days ago, but it’s become pretty clear that his jet lag is taking him for a loop! Hellmuth did, however, make an attempt to get caught up on sleep by drugging himself with a “Big Boy” sleeping pill. Or whatever that means? Sadly enough, Hellmuth busted on Day 3 of this event today.

#Positivity

In other news, this time the positivity doesn’t apply to Phil Hellmuth as it was Maria Ho chiming in with some much needed upbeat sentiments on Twitter. While most of #PokerTwitter was busy ripping on each other over table etiquettes and the trials and tribulations of loaning money, Ho took a few minutes out of her day to thank Randi and Jeremy Hilsercop for reminding us of what’s truly important in life and poker. Reading the whole thread is recommended.

Pizza on Table 21!

His name is Brett ‘The Delivery Man’ Buttz but during the WPT Borgata Winter Open Main Event he quickly became known as Pizza Man. Buttz is looking to generate exposure for his vending machine pizza business, and since he’s gotten himself included in this article, we say it’s working!

KFC > McDonalds

After a beachside start to the year with the PCA in the Bahamas, the entire poker scene has relocated to Australia for Aussie Millions. As players fire away in events ranging from $1,000 up to $250,000, their most important choice of the day might be taking place in the food court. Red wine aficionado Connor Drinan brought this groundbreaking report as the high rollers seemingly prefer KFC over some good ol’ McDonalds, better known as Rotten Ronnie’s or Maccas, Down Under.
