The Poker Masters is five days away and the anticipation is palpable at the ARIA Resort & Casino after a week of high stakes action on Poker After Dark. Players from around the world are descending on Las Vegas for the five-event series; where the top money earner across all events wins the Poker Masters Purple Jacket™. All the action from feature and final tables will stream exclusively on PokerGO.

The series will boast eight days of unparalleled action but ARIA High Roller events have a couple of exclusive rules players should know. Each even will have a business casual dress code and sunglasses and headphones are not allowed. Cell phone use is also not permitted while on the Feature Tables.

Just like ARIA High Rollers, each tournament will run with a popular new format, where the big blind posts a single ante for the table. This new format speeds up play and was developed by a combination of ARIA Poker executives and High Roller players.

All tournaments are seven-handed and feature a 30-second shot clock for a player’s action. Each player is given three, 60-second time extensions at the start of play each day.

The first four $50,000 preliminary events begin each day at 2 PM starting Wednesday, September 13th. They will run through Saturday, September 16th and are scheduled for two days. Players registered, or in the registration line, by 2 PM will have all tournament fees waived, while all late entries and single re-entries are subject to fees. Players may register through the first nine levels.

Levels are thirty minutes and Day 1 will play down to the final seven players. That final table lineup will then return at noon the following day to play down to a winner. Final table players also have tournament fees waived if they chose to play the concurrent $50,000 prelim running that day.

The final event of the Poker Masters series is the $100,000 Championship. The biggest buy-in event of the series begins Monday, September 18th at 2 PM and is scheduled for three days of play and is the only freeze out on the schedule. Day 1 and Day 2 of the Championship will play ten levels, with the tournament director determining the start time for Day 3’s final table. Players that entered all four preliminary events have their fees waived for the $100,000 Championship.
