When the “Rumble with Jungle” lineups and formats were announced last week, it was clear that the Poker After Dark bar had been raised. Instead of $25,000 sit and go’s, the buy-in was bumped to $50,000 and last night, Jason Koon claimed the $300,000 winner-take-all prize to open a massive week of high stakes action.

Tonight, the stakes continue to go up, as the biggest cash game in Poker After Dark history is set to begin at 8 PM ET. The $300/$600 No Limit Hold’em cash game will feature six of the world’s best high stakes players, including this week’s namesake, Daniel “Jungleman” Cates.

Cates is a regular in some of the world’s biggest games but no one in Wednesday night’s lineup is a stranger to $200,000 minimum buy-in cash games.

Doug Polk has tons of experience in huge tournaments and cash games and returns for a second-straight night, along with Brian Rast, who has been an expert at the nosebleed stakes for years. Online legend Isaac Haxton, who is celebrating his birthday, will also return.

Last night’s winner, Jason Koon, takes the place of PokerGO commentator Nick Schulman, who notched two runner-up finishes during “Voices Carry” week, and Matt Berkey, who picked up a $25,000 win last month, sits down in his first Poker After Dark cash game.

When Poker After Dark first debuted cash games last month, with “The Return of Tom Dwan,” three nights of $200/$400 created some of the biggest action televised poker has ever seen. There were multiple seven-figure stacks on the table and with an even bigger game running this week, no one would be surprised to see the same tonight.
