There is no crying in poker, but there is apparently “Whine and Cheese.” This week’s Poker After Dark cash games featured a few of the game’s biggest stars and some of Las Vegas’ best cash game players, including Phil Hellmuth, Daniel Negreanu, Tom Marchese, Justin Young, and Jeremy Ausmus.

The first night played without the “Poker Brat” and “Kid Poker,” but a handful of players made their Poker After Dark debuts. Ausmus was one of those debutants, despite being a household name on PokerGO thanks to commentary roles during the ARIA High Roller Series and U.S. Poker Open. Dan O’Brien also made his debut, alongside Las Vegas cash game professional Hank Yang. The “Whine and Cheese” opener was all about the week’s namesake though, as Tom “Big Cheese” Marchese returned to Poker After Dark and booked a muenster win.

The “Whine and Cheese” finale continued with a similar lineup, but included Poker Hall of Famers Phil Hellmuth and Daniel Negreanu. Both legends hosted the 2018 Super High Roller Bowl Lottery on PokerGO, and both locked up a seat, before joining the second $50/$100 cash game. Hellmuth and Negreanu clashed a few times, but the real star of the show was Hank Yang. After joining the game with just over an hour remaining in the session, Yang ended the night with an over $60,000 profit, most of which came during a huge confrontation with Daniel Negreanu.

Some of the week’s biggest pots and best highlights can be found on PokerGO‘s social media channels, but subscribe now to relive the action from both “Whine and Cheese” cash games on-demand through exclusive PokerGO event replays.
