While there are three PokerStars Championship series and a PokerStars Festival running through the spring, the biggest series PokerStars is hosting over the next few months takes place on the virtual felt. The Spring Championship of Online Poker is always the biggest and best thing in online gaming and this year’s SCOOP series will be the most accessible ever, with buy-ins ranging from $5.50 to $25,000.

The 2017 Spring Championship of Online Poker will run from April 30th to May 23rd and is the biggest ever. $55,000,000 in guaranteed throughout the series, more than $15,000,000 more than last year’s SCOOP series.

The series boasts over 150 events, including Low, Medium and High price points. Different buy-ins aren’t the only variety offered, as the 2017 SCOOP schedule includes nearly every poker variant imaginable, including, No Limit Hold’em, Pot Limit Omaha, HORSE, FL Triple Draw, NL 5-Card Draw, Player’s Choice, Win The Button, as well as Full Ring, 8-Max, 6-Max, Heads Up formats. The schedule also includes Progressive Knockout tournaments and Phase tournaments, giving players a little bit of everything through the nearly month-long series. 

The biggest event of the series, should be the $10,300 Main Event. Last year’s installment of the SCOOP Main Event drew 824 entrants and was won by Talal “raidalot” Shakerchi. The English businessman earned nearly $1,500,000 for his SCOOP victory and Shakerchi will try to defend his title this spring, before he heads to Las Vegas to compete in the Super High Roller Bowl.
