While most people will be tuning into PokerGO throughout the summer for live streams and event replays of World Series of Poker events, there is also tons of original content offered on poker’s premier subscription platform. That original content is available on-demand and after dropping three new episodes last week, the Pokerography library is expanding again.

Pokerography gives fans a unique look into the lives of poker’s biggest names and ten-time WSOP bracelet winner Johnny Chan is the focus of the newest Pokerography episode. Chan, who is one of the game’s all-time greats, talks through his entire career, from his upbringing in Texas, to his first experiences in Las Vegas, to his back-to-back Main Event victories in 1987 and 1988.

Chan also talks about his battle with Phil Hellmuth in 1989. Chan and Hellmuth met heads up at the WSOP Main Event final table and while Chan was going for his third consecutive title, Hellmuth was trying to win his first and make his mark on the game.

We know how that ended. Hellmuth won the 1989 Main Event for his first-career bracelet and has since won thirteen more and we know everyone has seen Rounders. Chan gives insight into how he made a cameo in the iconic 1998 film and much more.

For a unique look into the Orient Express, check out the newly released Pokerography episode featuring Johnny Chan, which follows the releases of episodes featuring Jason Koon, Liv Boeree and Byron Kaverman . Stay tuned to PokerGO for more Pokerography releases and other original content.
