Poker Central is relaunching the fan-favorite poker show “Poker After Dark” in a live format beginning August 7 exclusively on PokerGO. The show stopped production in 2011 and the new, year-round format features cash games and Sit & Go tournaments hosted at the ARIA Resort & Casino produced by Poker PROductions.

“Poker After Dark” returns as fans remember, the game’s top players and biggest personalities playing for enormous stakes with Nick Schulman and Ali Nejad providing commentary only on PokerGO. The premier episode airs live with Daniel Negreanu and Antonio Esfandiari locked in with seats for the game.

“PokerGO’s vast content library will now include the return of one of the most beloved poker shows in the world as we continue our commitment to delivering premium live content our subscribers want to see,” said Joe Kakaty, president of Poker Central. “We plan to announce additional high stakes tournaments and original programming in the near future as we continue to build on the PokerGO offering.”

The poker action includes No Limit Hold’em, Pot Limit Omaha, as well as, other Mixed Games the pros currently play in their rotation. The “players-first” approach with limited commentary and each player mic’d up for table talk gives viewers a unique opportunity to get in the game at the highest stakes games in Las Vegas.

“’Poker After Dark’ achieved some of the most breathtaking moments in poker by bringing the fans into an intimate setting up close and personal with the players,” said Mori Eskandani, founder of Poker PROductions. “PokerGO is the perfect destination for the return of ‘Poker After Dark’ and we look forward to bringing back the same spirit of the show that made it such a hit in the past.”
