It’s not every day that more than a million dollars are being handed out at the World Series of Poker, but yesterday was one of those days! Pablo Mariz from Canada took down the Milly Maker for $1.2 million, and we have a very emotional interview with him on the podcast today.

Another man that joins the show goes by the name of Maurice Hawkins, and while he’s not yet won, he’s well on his way in THE MARATHON! Hawkins best on himself to win a bracelet this summer, and makes some strong claims about his skills and future success at the WSOP.

One winner was crowned at the WSOP today, and that was Shane Buchwald who took down the $1,500 Limit Hold’em for $177,985. Other events that are ongoing such as the $10k Razz and $3k 6-max also get discussed, as the latter will be streamed on PokerGO on Friday.

If you want to rewatch Mariz’s epic Milly Maker run, you can now do so by going to PokerGO and relive his final table. PokerGO brings you all the WSOP live streaming action from the RIO this summer.
