Poker Central Launches Jeep High Roller Of The Year Award To Celebrate Player Achievement

Poker Central Announces Key Sponsorship and Reveals Dates for Poker Masters Tournament

LAS VEGAS, NV (August 13, 2019) – Poker Central today announced a partnership with top automotive brand Jeep on the new Jeep High Roller of the Year award, an elite designation that will be attained by a single poker player with season-long champion status in Poker Central’s high-stakes events. Poker Central also revealed dates for the next major poker tournament of 2019, Poker Masters, an event that will help determine the Jeep High Roller of the Year. Poker Masters will run from November 1-10 at the ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, and will be streamed on PokerGO.

To have a chance at winning the Jeep Higher Roller of the Year title, players earn point multipliers during major Poker Central tournaments throughout the year, notably the prestigious High Roller Triple Crown that includes Poker Masters, Super High Roller Bowl, and the U.S. Poker Open. The inaugural High Roller of the Year winner in 2018 was Sam Soverel.

Poker Masters is a series of ten High Roller events. The objective is to accumulate the most High Roller of the Year points to earn the title of Poker Masters champion, and the coveted Poker Masters purple jacket. The 2019 Poker Masters tournament will begin on November 1, 2019, with a $10,000 buy-in and will conclude with its last event starting on November 10, with a $100,000 buy-in tournament. Schedule details are available at PokerMasters.com.

“The ongoing success of the High Roller of the Year structure and the growth of Poker Central’s events domestically and globally are evident as we welcome Jeep as our partner,” said Sam Simmons, president of Poker Central. “Jeep’s support of the High Roller of the Year award demonstrates the broad appeal of poker and the passionate community that surrounds it.”

The announcement follows Poker Central’s recent European expansion of its signature events, such as the forthcoming British Poker Open (beginning on September 2) and Super High Roller Bowl London (starting on September 13). The Super High Roller Bowl tournament’s international footprint began to grow with its 2017 launch in Asia.
