For decades, Las Vegas has been the home to some of the world’s biggest and best poker action. That high stakes action will now have a permanent home in the heart of the Las Vegas strip, as Poker Central has just announced their new state-of-the-art PokerGO Studio at ARIA Resort & Casino.

The more than 10,000 square-foot studio was built from the ground up and will be the exclusive home for all Poker Central-owned live events distributed on its over-the-top subscription service, PokerGO. Events that will stream live from the brand-new PokerGO Studio include Super High Roller Bowl, Poker Masters, U.S. Poker OpenPoker After Dark, and more.

Poker After Dark will have the honor of opening the PokerGO Studio, with a special grand opening edition taking place from May 16-17. The fourth installment of the Super High Roller Bowl will also christen the PokerGO Studio, when the 4-day $300,000 buy-in event begins May 27.

The venue, which is owned and operated by Poker Central, will have space for nine poker tables with an occupancy of up to 300 people, including space for over 100 fans and spectators. The PokerGO Studio will also feature multiple sound stages, a main studio, a break desk, and a streaming lounge, which will provide flexibility to host a wide variety of poker and esports events. The PokerGO Studio will also be open to the public on an event-by-event basis.

In addition to the world’s largest poker events, Poker Central portfolio company ESP Gaming will also use the digitally advanced space to host its live esports events. ESP Gaming is the world’s premier competitive gaming content creation company.

The opening of the PokerGO Studio follows a banner year for Poker Central and PokerGO. The network saw an expanded slate of broadcast partnerships with ESPN and NBC Sports Network, as well as international expansion with the licensing of the World Series of Poker and other Poker Central events. Poker Central chief digital officer JR McCabe spoke to this and future expansion when the PokerGO Studio announcement was made.

“Nearly a year ago we set out to create a digital-first poker network that would showcase some of the world’s best tournament and lifestyle content – both on and off the felt.” McCabe said, before continuing, “While this studio makes the fulfillment of that goal, it also doubles as a promise to our loyal viewers – to continually expand our programming slate, offer even more tournaments at all levels and get fans even close to the mind sport they love.”
