After three days of high stakes cash game sessions, Poker After Dark returned with a new format last night. Six players put up $25,000 and played in the reboot’s first winner-take-all sit & go, with Matt Berkey outlasting a boisterous lineup to earn a $150,000 payday. The talkative table kicked off the “Voices Carry” episodes and while last night’s roster included “The King of Speech Play” and Mike Matusow, who was nicknamed “The Mouth” nearly a decade ago, tonight’s group likely won’t be as chatty.

Matt Berkey, who was featured on PokerGO’s original series Dead Money, returns looking to go back-to-back in $25K SNGs but a stacked lineup of High Roller specialists surround him. Two players in the top-ten of the all-time money list, Brian Rast and Scott Seiver, make their debuts but what they lack in PAD experience, they make up for in past ARIA success. Rast and Seiver finished one-two in the 2015 Super High Roller Bowl for career-best scores and have each landed in the ARIA High Roller winner’s circle through the first half of the year.

Jason Koon nearly added another ARIA High Roller win to his resume this past weekend, finishing 2nd to Sean Winter, but the West Virginia native will hope that he was saving the best for his PAD debut. Ben Lamb is also making his first appearance, after last hitting PokerGO during this summer’s World Series of Poker Main Event. Lamb made a historic run towards a second-career final table, before falling in 9th place for a $1 million score.

The smoothest man in poker, Nick Schulman, rounds out the six-handed lineup. The PokerGO commentator may have finished 2nd last night but he wasn’t denied a win earlier this month in Florida. Schulman, who was the feature of a recent Pokerography episode, won the $50,000 Super High Roller at the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open for $440,000 and returns for Poker After Dark redemption tonight.
