Nicolas Manion Unleashes Massive Cooler On Main Event Day 7 on PokerGO

Seven days and 7,875 eliminations later, the final table of the 2018 World Series of Poker Main Event is set on PokerGO. Day 7 brought all the storylines with a few coming home to the final table. Joe Cada headlined thanks to the potential of his second Main Event final table appearance after winning in 2009. When the dust settled, Nicolas Manion stood on top thanks to one of the craziest hands in WSOP history.

Down to two tables, Cada needed some heat to chip up into contention. Up against Frederick Brink, Cada faced elimination in the face and survived with some river magic to start his rise near the final table.

Cada did not stop there. With the final table bubble on the immediate horizon, Cada took fate into his own hands and battled against feared pro Alex Lynskey. Three barrels did the trick and Cada bluffed all-in on the river for all of it.

All of the Cada theatrics were a precursor for the drama that unfolded at the final table of 10. Nicolas Manion stood in the middle of the pack before the coldest deck in Main Event history feasted its eyes on Yueqi Zhu and Antoine Labat.

Manion starts the final table with a slight lead over the chip leader for most of the day, Michael Dyer.

Not all who entered Day 7 survived as Barry Hutter, 2013 November Niner Sylvain Loosli, and Ivan Luca took their leave.

John Cynn is at the final table two years after his 11th place finish in the 2016 Main Event. Cynn tells Remko Rinkema about his Day 7 experience the second time around.

Artem Metalidi might be short stacked but to hear him tell it, he’s the best player at the final table.

The final tablists return to play until six remain in the first of three final table days.
