The World Poker Tour Borgata Winter Poker Open reached the final table following a relatively short day of play when the returned 34 players. They reached the TV final table of six players with Nathan Bjerno holding a massive chip lead over the field.

Jia Liu trails Bjerno, Bryn Kenney’s brother Tyler bagged up third in chips and high stakes pro Daniel Weinman comes in just behind Kenney. Richard Foster and Nicholas Immekus round out the final table.

Bjerno has nearly twice the chips of any other player. Following play he spoke to WPT reporters, “It’s absolutely amazing that I’m here. I’ve been playing these things for years,” Bjerno said. “I just feel like I’ve gotten deep so many times and just been crushed.”

“It just seems this was my tournament. I have a massive stack right now – I was flopping sets, flopping flushes – it’s absurd,” he continued. “Just running really well and I’m feeling very fortunate right now.”

Weinman celebrates his 29th birthday at the final table and said, “It should be a pretty tough table. Nathan and Tyler have big stacks and are playing really well,” he said. “Everyone is deep enough to play some poker so it should be a long battle.”

“I’m just going to keep doing what I’ve been doing and chip up slowly,” Weinman added. “And never lose an all in of course.”

Each player is guaranteed $184,787 for returning to the final table and the winner walks with $892,433 and a seat in the $15,000 WPT Tournament of Champions at the end of the season.

The final table kicks off at 2 pm Friday, with a live stream on a 30-minute delay with hole cards.
