The Super High Roller Bowl is currently playing down to the final table exclusively on PokerGO and while today’s Day 3 field doesn’t include Hollywood’s Kevin Hart, the world-class actor and comedian was front and center throughout the first two days of the event. Hart notched some big knockouts, scored some important doubles and made a lasting impression on the Super High Roller Bowl and the poker world in general.

Hart eliminated 14-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth on Day 1 and then sent last year’s Super High Roller Bowl runner-up, Fedor Holz, to the rail mid-way through Day 2. Hart also traded punches with 2015 champion Brian Rast, before The King finally vanquished Hart and ended his run late yesterday.

While Hart may not have advanced to Day 3, his energy on poker’s biggest stage was contagious and Twitter was the, as the kids say, lit before, during and after his Super High Roller Bowl run.

Five years ago, how about ever? We knew Kevin Hart versus Phil Hellmuth was going to be must-watch television but we probably assumed the latter would have the better of it on the felt. The opposite was true though, as Hellmuth showed up late and was then one of the first players eliminated, with Hart setting The Poker Brat to the door.

When Kevin Hart wasn’t adding to his kill list, he was as entertaining as ever. Some people around the Twitterverse thought that his antics were “inappropriate” and that he “lacked etiquette” at the tables but a month ago, Hart said he was going to bring the fun back to poker. This weekend, he did that and more.

“That’s going viral.” said a nameless Poker Central employee after Kevin Hart did his victory lap and humped the table after doubling through Brian Rast. I’m sure that clip will be GIFed and everything else under the sun before the WSOP and the Barstool Sports guys had some fun with the clip and are correct, humping the table Kevin Hart is the best Kevin Hart.

Justin Bonomo, who came into Day 3 of the Super High Roller Bowl with the chip lead, sat with Kevin Hart for most of Day 1. Throughout the day, Hart was talkative with his entire table but was most interested in Bonomo’s REG Charity patch and pledged to donate $10,000 to the cause. Kevin Hart may be hilarious, he may be entertaining and he may be a great actor but above all, Kevin Hart is a great human being.

A great human being, who evidently can’t act within the confines of the Super High Roller Bowl shot clock. In a commercial for PokerGO, Kevin Hart is heads up with Antonio Esfandiari and takes too much time to act, resulting in a “dead hand.” Hart doesn’t like that and lets the referee know he isn’t a fan of the call and Hart isn’t the only one racing against the clock, as the chance to watch the Super High Roller Bowl live exclusively on PokerGO is running out.
