Justin Bonomo’s summer started with a $5 million dollar win in the Super High Roller Bowl in May on PokerGO. A few weeks later, Bonomo is two opponents away from locking up another title. This time, a World Series of Poker bracelet awaits. The single bracelet winner headlined Day 2 play of the $10,000 Heads Up Championship on PokerGO with the head-to-head matches streamed exclusively.

Bonomo started his march to the final four with a duel against fellow bracelet winner Niall Farrell. The two battled for an hour before Bonomo used pocket kings to beat the threes of Farrell. Another foe from the United Kingdom showed up in Mark McGovern.

Their match lasted for a short while before Bonomo whittled down another opponent. Bonomo finished off McGovern by getting there and advancing to Friday’s semifinals.

On the other side of the bracket, two members of the European Union were up against each other. Jan Eric Schwippert and Julien Martini were heads up in the Sweet 16 with only one spot left on the other side of the money bubble. Martini already owns one bracelet from this summer as a result of his win in the $1,500 Omaha Hi-Lo event. Pocket aces weren’t good enough for Martini, who busted in ugly fashion to his German competitor.

Schwippert lost in the following round to Martijn Gerrits, who takes on Bonomo tomorrow on the round of four.

The Final Four of the Heads Up Championship starts on June 8 at 4:00 pm ET on PokerGO with both matches along with the title bout streaming live. Subscribe to PokerGO today to witness potential history with Bonomo near the finish line for bracelet number two.

On Twitch tomorrow is the final table of the $1,500 Big Blind Ante No Limit Hold’em event starting at 4:00 pm ET.
