The second Day 1 flight of the PokerStars Championship Panama Main Event drew 259 entrants, pushing the total to 363 total entrants. After eight levels of action Jiachen Gong edged out Caufman Talley for the day’s chip lead with 154,300 to 150,300 respectively.

Canadians Mark Radoja and Erik Cajelais bagged up just over 100,000 while Ari Engel, Luc Greenwood and Andrew Chen finished a little lower in the counts.

The combined 171 survivors resume play on Day 2 for six, 75-minute levels at noon local time.
