The first month of the year has flown by and the world’s best and biggest players have flown all over the world chasing massive fields, huge prize pools and illustrious titles. Multiple narratives have already begun to take shape and after a record breaking campaign, another year-long schedule of ARIA High Roller events will certainly shape their own narratives throughout the rest of 2017.

In 2016, Cary Katz led the charge, recording the most cashes, wins and money won in ARIA High Roller events. Poker Central Ambassador Tom Marchese and Jake Schindler weren’t far behind, with massive years of their own. A handful of semi-professionals regularly found success and then there was the Summer of Fedor.

With these events regularly drawing the top players in the world, trying to predict how they will play out is an exercise in futility. Luckily for the poker world, next week is our first glimpse at the 2017 ARIA High Rollers. Three events will take place over Super Bowl Weekend, including two single-day $25,000 High Rollers and a single-day $50,000 Super High Roller.

The weekend-long series will begin on Thursday, February 2 and that is also the first day that players will be allowed to register for this summer’s $300,000 buy-in Super High Roller Bowl. The 2017 event will again be capped at 50 players, with ARIA reserving 15 of those seats. Last year’s Super High Roller Bowl sold out in two weeks, so players that are looking to lock up their seat certainly have next Thursday circled on their calendars.

The poker world does as well, not only to see which players confirm their spots in the Super High Roller Bowl but also to follow a new year of ARIA High Roller action.
