Day 7 of the World Series of Poker Main Event means only thing: there will be madness. Only 27 players from a field of over 7,000 are one day away from being inducted into elite company as Main Event final tablists. The most memorable moments of the poker year happen on this day and 2017 is no different. Now available on PokerGO are four episodes comprising an unforgettable day of play.

Main Event champion Scott Blumstein sits directly in the crossfire on Day 7. Blumstein tangles with Dan Ott in two all-in pots where both players extend their opponent’s tournament life. Their heads up showdown is the peak of the final table and they start to test each other in the last days of the tournament.

That’s not all from Blumstein. When play nears the final table, he makes a call for the ages against Jack Sinclair that propels him into the chip lead heading into the next day’s action.

Bryan Piccioli almost made it to the finish line in 2016 but had a chip-leading stack come crashing down on Day 5. This year, Piccioli redeems himself thanks to one of the most memorable river cards in recent Main Event history. All-in against Antoine Saout, Piccioli pulls an eight from the depths of the deck to keep his run going. If you need to know what the Main Event is all about, the look on Piccioli’s face after the hand tells the story.

Saout loses this hand but keeps his remarkable accomplishment alive. The 2009 Main Event bronze medalist made the final 27 in 2016 and improves that performance a year later. Watch as Saout navigates his way through another massive field to get to his second career Main Event final table.

Michael Ruane reached the 2016 top-nine and has a chance to do so again. When play reaches 10, Ruane is one-step away from repeating the poker history achieved by Mark Newhouse in back-to-back official final tables. Standing in Ruane’s way is his friend, Piccioli, and the two flip a coin for their respective tournament lives.

John Hesp stays in the headlines for another day. The plucky British amateur is the star of the Main Event and he ravages pros again on his way to building on his underdog legend.
