The World Series of Poker Circuit Harrah’s New Orleans $1,675 Main Event kicks off Friday, May 19 and it’s the last chance for players to win their way into the 2017 Global Casino Championship domestically. Harrah’s New Orleans is traditionally the final stop on the WSOPC schedule and the Series brings out the best players looking to qualify through points or automatic bids.

The $1,675 Main Event features two starting days with one re-entry per flight for a maximum of four bullets for desperate players. The final table wraps up Monday along with the stop’s points race for Casino Champion.

The top 50 players in the season-long points race also earn entry into the Global Casino Championship. Currently, James Juvancic sits on the cutoff bubble with 142.5 points. Several players could leapfrog Juvancic with a deep run in the Main Event or remaining side events.
