Yesterday, University of Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh visited the Vatican with his wife and met Pope Francis. Harbaugh gifted his holiness with a Wolverine football helmet and a pair of basketball shoes. The Pope certainly gets a wide variety of gifts, so what would the poker community give Pope Francis if they had the chance to meet The Holy Father?

Phil Hellmuth – The 14-time WSOP bracelet winner has rubbed elbows with everyone from Steph Curry, to Tiger Woods, to Steve Aoki but no one preaches #POSITIVITY like The Pope. To get some holy run good, Pope Francis would have his pick of Hellmuth’s golden footwear that he plans to wear during this summer’s Super High Roller Bowl and World Series of Poker.

Joe McKeehen – Sports jerseys are usually not one-of-a-kind but anything game-worn certainly goes up in value. There have been a few historical jersey-wearing wins in the poker world but the most recent was during the 2015 WSOP Main Event, when Pennsylvania-native Joe McKeehen, pictured above, donned an Allen Iverson Sixers jersey before he claimed an over $7 million victory. The Answer here, is clear.

Anthony Zinno – With three World Poker Tour victories and a WPT Player of the Year title to his name, from Season XIII, Zinno has a Hublot watch for every appendage. He can spare one for his holiness and since it is only the best for Pope Francis, Zinno elects to give his custom, one-of-a-kind POY timepiece.

Todd Brunson – Each year, the WPT’s stop at Bay 101 brings out the biggest names and those fortunate to bust Shooting Stars receive a gift to remember the opposition by. Most players just sign their t-shirt and get back in the registration line to re-entry but not Todd Brunson. This year, he wrote this long-winded and expletive ridden paragraph, see above, on his shirt, before giving it to Eddy Sabat and Pope Francis would get one too, just without the cursing.
