After a quicker than expected Day 3 session, that lasted just over five hours, the $111,111 High Roller for One Drop is down to the final table. Nine players remain and some of the world’s best, including last year’s Super High Roller Bowl champion and a former WSOP Main Event champion, will return tomorrow to compete for a World Series of Poker bracelet.

When play resumes at 2 PM PT tomorrow, with the exclusive PokerGO live stream beginning at 2:30 PM PT, the entire field has a steep mountain to climb, literally and figuratively. Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier led the field into Day 3 and then used that quick session to build a massive mountain of chips. The Frenchman will enter the final table with 16,825,000, good for over 100 big blinds.

“ElkY” has won nearly everything there is to win in the world of poker, including a WSOP bracelet in 2012 but Grospellier isn’t taking his current position for granted.

“I’m trying to enjoy the moment because I know these spots are so rare,” Grospellier said after Day 3 concluded with him sitting atop the charts. He added, “I’ve been fortunate but the final table is going to be very tough, there are some great players remaining.”

Those great players are well off Grospellier’s pace though and his closest competitor, 2014 WSOP Main Event winner Martin Jacobson, will be behind 8,890,000, nearly half the stack of Grospellier. Italian Dario Sammartino rounds out a European top-three, as he sits with 7,975,000.

Americans Andrew Robl, Chris Moore and Doug Polk are all slightly below the chip average but they are also decently stacked, with all three near 40 big blinds. Rainer Kempe, is right below that threshold, with Michael Kamran and Haralabos Voulgaris on either side of 20 big blinds.

With the better part of a $13,722,000 prize pool up for grabs and a field of experienced players returning, who will claim the biggest bracelet of the year is far from decided. Grospellier will likely enter as the betting favorite though and that isn’t just because of his overwhelming chip lead.

“I feel like I’ve been playing well the last few months, I got really close in Macau, close in Monaco and Sochi.” Grospellier said, referencing deep runs in PokerStars Championship events, adding, “I’m feeling pretty confident in my plays.”

As one of the most decorated players remaining in the High Roller for One Drop, momentum and confidence should be a concern of the rest of the field. Tomorrow, Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier brings not only confidence but also a massive chip lead to the High Roller for One Drop final table, where he’ll look to claim his second career WSOP bracelet.
