The biggest event of the World Series of Poker schedule also opened PokerGO’s WSOP streaming schedule and to put it lightly, the $111,111 High Roller for One Drop did not disappoint. After an abbreviated Day 1 session saw 78 players bag chips, 11 players joined the action on Day 2 to push the field to 130 players and throughout the day, plenty of big names held the chip lead.

WSOP Main Event champion Martin Jacobson held the chip lead at the start of play and over the course of the next few hours, the lead would swing from Brian Rast, to Adrian Mateos, to Scott Seiver, to Doug Polk, to Antonio Esfandiari. In the end, those players, save for Rast and Mateos, would punch tickets to Day 3, although none would advance with their names on the top of the leader board.

That standing belonged to Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier, who bluffed Phil Hellmuth in a sizable pot at the end of the day to take control of the Day 2 chip lead. “ElkY” leads the way with 7,040,000, with another player that caused Hellmuth trouble, Dario Sammartino, sitting second with 6,080,000.

Below that European leading duo, sit Americans Scott Seiver, Chris Moore, Daniel Colman and Andrew Robl. Seiver holds 4,920,000 and the rest sit just above 4 million, with Rainer Kempe, the aforementioned Jacobson and Polk, along with Phil Hellmuth, rounding out the top-ten. They have all put themselves in great positions to cash, with 20 players set to make the money and divide up an over $13 million prize pool.

23 players will return for Day 3 and the plan is to play down to the final table tomorrow. First though, the field has to get to the money and while there are some short stacks, the action will likely be slow and tactical through the early going. When the bubble finally does burst, sights will shift to the top of the payout scale, where $3,686,865 awaits the eventual champion.

Day 3 of the $111,111 High Roller for One Drop will be streamed exclusively on PokerGO, allowing fans around the world to follow all the action from the first hand, to the bubble, the final table and beyond. Cards get in the air at 2 PM PT Sunday, with the PokerGO live stream beginning at 2:30 PM PT
