Today’s live coverage of Day 2 A/B session of the Main Event began on PokerGO, with defending WSOP Main Event champion Qui Nguyen at the feature table. Midway through the last level though, Nguyen was eliminated by James Akenhead, with the English professional rivering a flush to send Nguyen’s top pair to the rail.

That means that not only will there be a new WSOP champion in 2017 but also that there will be a new lineup once the action returns on PokerGO. That lineup will feature the current chip leader, Sam Grafton, who has over 400,000, and Doug Polk, who won the $111,111 High Roller for One Drop earlier this year.

While Polk has been under the PokerGO lights before, and at the commentary desk, Grafton is making his first appearance of the summer. If the British online crusher can keep his stack moving up though, we could be seeing a lot more of Grafton throughout the later stages of the Main Event.

Polk and Grafton’s table will begin play on PokerGO but at 4:30 PM PT, action will switch to ESPN. Day 2A/B of the WSOP Main Event will then return to PokerGO for a nightcap at 8:00 PM PT. A complete WSOP Main Event streaming schedule can be found here
