The next chapter in the 2015 Super High Roller Bowl Cash Game saga is now available on-demand on PokerGO. Stakes remain high and over $2 million is on the table when Episode 6 opens with a brand-new lineup in store for viewers. The $400/$800 game creates action and there is plenty of it with Doug Polk seated in the middle.
Polk is one of a few high stakes pros who comprise the six-handed table when the game opens. Right away, Polk is greeted by straddles up to $1,600 from “Aussie” Matt Kirk, who is the only player to return from the first five episodes.
Super High Roller Bowl is the theme of the game but there is a special bond among three of the game’s participants.
Scott Seiver, Paul Newey, and Sam Trickett are all final tablists of the $1 million buy-in Big One For One Drop event. 2014 winner Dan Colman joins the lineup in Episode 7. His addition places over $75 million in career tournament earnings on the table. Newey is the relative “low man” on that totem pole with $4.85 million to his name in tournament cashes.
The action picks up another notch when Andrew Robl stops by and puts $1.5 million on the table to battle over. In the “Return of Tom Dwan” episodes of Poker After Dark, Robl performed a similar seven-figure feat and is well at home with the highest stakes in the world.
By the time is all said and done, David “Doc” Sands and Patrik Antonius join in as well.
The conveyor belt of elite players circulating through these four episodes aligns for some of the most dramatic hands in the history of televised poker. Colman and Seiver, in particular, battle in a pot that approaches the stratosphere of $1 million.
